Approximately 460 million people globally experience hearing loss, which cannot be corrected by surgery or hearing aids. Microsoft Soundbyte, in collaboration with students from the Tandon School of Engineering in NY, introduces smart earbuds that detect and filter out harmful sounds. This innovative device, when paired with its dedicated app, aims to combat noise pollution and restore acoustic equality.
